We are looking for a Sales Account Manager for Essential Oils to join our team to maintain and grow relationships with customers to pursue profitable growth opportunities in assigned customer accounts and new clients in Europe (primarily but not limited to Germany & other European countries). 
 
 

What you'll do: 

  • You will be an intricate part of the commercial team, responsible for developing and delivering sales targets and activities in your territory to clients in F&F (flavor & fragrance houses), personal care (oral care, skin care, rinse off), aromatherapy.  

  • Determining your Sales Strategy for your assigned geographical area and assigned clients, in coordination with your Sales Manager 
  • Searching and obtaining new customers accounts as well as maintaining and growing existing business for achieving sales objectives 

  • Regularly visiting your existing customer base and potential customers, putting a higher attention on your most potential accounts and hottest projects  

  • Sharing regularly forecasts internally and communicating immediately about any big change (wins and losses) to allow our team to adjust their purchasing and stocking decisions 
  • Reporting regularly (monthly and under request) to your Sales Manager your sales, main business variations, main wins and losses, key visits and activities, agenda of visits for the coming weeks, market intelligence (trends, competition, etc.), and answering any additional question

 

What you'll bring: 

  • Proficient level of German and high level of English are a must, French or any other European language will be a plus.  

  • Relevant sales experience in a B2B environment, ideally fragrances, extracts, ingredients for personal/home care, or specialty ingredients. Technical background would be preferable 

  • A strategic approach to prospecting, developing business and winning new accounts along with the drive and passion to win! 

  • Have the ability to work both autonomously as well as with a team and therefore needs a high level of self-discipline and motivation  

  • Ability to travel regularly across your territory and other EU countries to visit clients, and trade shows. (60% of the time). Be willing to visit customers on average 3 out of 5 days per week and therefore has the ability to embrace coffee shop working  

  • Project Management experience
