~1 min readThe Cut & Wrap Crew Member works as part of a team to support cheese packaging operations. This role includes deboning, trim handling, feeding, weighing, bagging, case packing, and palletizing to ensure products meet company and customer standards.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Verify pallet identification to ensure correct product selection for each line and customer.
- →Remove boxes and forms from cheese products and store all materials neatly and properly.
- →Trim cheese blocks as needed due to surface defects.
- →Properly store trim, underweights, and other usable cheese in lined corrugated containers; accurately weigh, seal, and document origin.
- →Move products through packaging lines, including separating pieces and feeding checkweighers or packaging machines.
- →Accurately weigh cheese pieces, communicate variances, and make necessary adjustments prior to packaging.
- →Pack finished products into corrugated cartons according to company and customer expectations.
- →Palletize finished product, ensuring accurate counts, correct labeling, and complete required documentation.
- →Maintain pace with prescribed operating speeds.
- →When lines are down, assist with cleaning, sweeping, changeovers, and support other lines as needed.
- →Perform other duties as assigned, including preventative maintenance, plant and exterior cleanliness, painting, and relief coverage.
Requirements

- Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Compliance with plant safety rules and company policies.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 60lb
- Ability to Bend, Stoop and Reach frequently
