We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team. As a Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in performing laboratory tests and ensuring quality control. Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory tests and experiments using specialised equipment and techniques
  • Analyse and interpret test results, documenting findings accurately
  • Operate laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of all tests, experiments, and procedures performed
  • Conduct quality control tests to ensure product consistency and compliance with industry standards
  • Assist with the preparation of samples
  • Perform routine analyses
  • The operation, basic maintenance, and cleaning of laboratory equipment
  • Practice safe work habits and create a safe working environment
  • Ad hoc or other related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements


Qualifications

  • BSc Degree or relevant National Diploma or B.Tech


Experience

  • Experience in a laboratory working environment would advantageous


Other specific requirements

  • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
