The Field Service Technician ensures reliable, high-quality delivery of AgroFresh products and application services by supporting both equipment performance and postharvest processes in the field and packing house environments. The successful candidate delivers operational excellence, product performance, and customer confidence by combining technical expertise, field support, and a proactive approach to quality and service.

Primary internal and external stakeholders

• →Customers, key contacts. pack line employees, distributor
• →Sales/Account Management team
• →Operations Director, reporting manager
• →Supply chain/Customer service for product deliveries

• AA or Technical degree, work experience considered in lieu of degree
• Mechanical aptitude for application equipment installations and repair
• Fabrication skills, cutting, and welding
• PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Computer literate including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Clean driving record mandatory

These skills and experiences are highly desirable; however, they do not preclude exceptions based on an individual’s performance history and demonstrated potential.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• History of Customer and internal customer focus and success
• Mechanical aptitude or equipment experience especially in Ag post-harvest industry a plus

• This is in-person/in-field position is located in the Grand Rapids/Sparta, Michigan area.
