The Material Handler is responsible for the safe handling, movement, storage, inventory control, and shipment of finished goods within the warehouse. This position supports daily warehouse operations by ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining proper product locations, completing system transactions in M3, and preparing customer orders for shipment while adhering to company safety, quality, and operational standards

Material Handling & Inventory Control
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Move finished products between warehouse locations, staging areas, and loading docks.
  • Verify product quantities, item numbers, lot numbers, and storage locations.
  • Maintain organized inventory locations and proper product placement.
  • Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and physical inventories.
  • Report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, and location errors.
  • Support inventory accuracy initiatives through proper material handling and transaction processing.
  • Perform daily warehouse transactions within the M3 system accurately and timely.
  • Execute inventory transfers and location changes in M3 to reflect physical product movements.
  • Create and process stock transfer transactions as required.
  • Consolidate inventory through Combine transactions to optimize warehouse space utilization and inventory management.
  • Verify inventory records and investigate discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
  • Maintain accurate product location information and inventory balances within M3.
  • Assist with inventory reconciliation and correction of system records when necessary.
  • Pick, stage, and prepare finished goods for customer shipments.
  • Verify products against Pick Tickets, Delivery Numbers (DN), Bills of Lading (BOL), and other shipping documentation.
  • Ensure customer orders are accurate, complete, and prepared according to shipping requirements.
  • Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently while preventing product damage.
  • Confirm shipment quantities and product identification prior to loading.
  • Support on-time shipment performance by following established schedules and priorities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment.
  • Ensure aisles, exits, storage areas, and loading zones remain safe and unobstructed.
  • Consolidate inventory and reorganize storage locations to maximize warehouse efficiency.
  • Participate in warehouse improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns immediately.
  • Operate equipment in accordance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Wear required PPE and comply with all safety requirements.
  • Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Experience with M3 ERP system preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
