Recovery Center Manger

The Armstrong Indiana Clarion Drug & Alcohol Commission is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Indiana County Recovery Center. This position is responsible for supporting staff and volunteers, maintaining a welcoming environment, and ensuring recovery support services are being delivered effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the ICRC
• Manage and support all staff and volunteers
• Create a welcoming, safe, and recovery-focused environment
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers
• Develop peer leadership and mentorship opportunities
• Manage scheduling for staff, volunteers, meetings, and trainings
• Maintain membership process and accurate records
• Organize and maintain files for staff, volunteers, and members
• Coordinate events and recovery-focused activities
• Ensure facility cleanliness and safety
• Provide direct recovery support services (life skills, mentoring)
• Assist with reports, policies, and program goals
• Conduct outreach with community partners
• Complete other duties as assigned by CRS Supervisor and the Executive Director

 Qualifications:

• Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) certification required or be able to obtain within 1 year of hire
• 18 months of continuous recovery from a Substance Use Disorder  
• Valid Drivers License
• Experience supervising staff or any related experience
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of community resources
• Experience with outreach and community engagement
• Experience with scheduling and program coordination
• Leadership experience in a team-based environment
