Our client is a global business agency that helps brands solve complex challenges through the power of strategy, creativity, media, data, and technology. They combine business intelligence with bold ideas to create meaningful connections between brands and their audiences, delivering innovative work that drives growth and impact.

With expertise in business strategy, media, CRM, brand communications, performance marketing and technology, the agency creates integrated marketing systems and communications that grow businesses. Founded in 2014, the agency has since been named Ad Age Data and Analytics Agency of the Year and Adweek's Breakthrough Media Agency of the Year. We work with Chili's, Diageo, Hard Rock, MilkPEP, H&R Block, and more. If you're driven by a passion to build something great, a desire to innovate, and a commitment to achieve excellence in your craft, this agency is a great place for you!

The agency has nine offices around the world, including New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, Austin, Denver, Kansas City, London, Bengaluru and Singapore. They embrace a hybrid, flexible workplace with employees asked to attend the office three days per week.

We are seeking a results-driven, goal-oriented Vice President, Integrated Media to serve as both an executive-level client partner and a people leader for our largest and most distinguished clients. This role is the senior-most point of the client relationship within Integrated Media, responsible for translating our clients' business challenges into innovative and effective marketing solutions across a portfolio of accounts. You will manage and develop a team of Directors, ensuring that high-level communications strategies are effectively translated into actionable, integrated media plans across their engagements. This is a leadership role for someone who can operate as both an executive-level client partner and a people manager — building and developing a team of Directors while personally holding the most senior client relationships in the portfolio.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of Directors, Integrated Media — setting priorities across their accounts, coaching on strategic and client-management skill, and owning performance management and career development for direct reports. This role reports into the Managing Director, Media.

  • Client Leadership & Strategic Partnership: Serve as the primary strategic lead across a portfolio of the agency's largest client relationships, serving as the senior-most agency point of contact at the client's executive level (CMO/VP Marketing). Identify a client's core business needs and work with both the client and internal teams to build innovative solutions that generate measurable results. Manage and set client expectations to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnership.

  • Integrated Media Strategy Development: Build the strategic foundation for all media plan development across the portfolio. Lead the creation of holistic media strategies, ensuring a consistent and powerful narrative across all channels, including TV, Digital (Display, Video, Social, Mobile, Programmatic), Print, and OOH.

  • Account Growth & Opportunity Identification: Take ownership for the health and growth trajectory of each relationship in the portfolio, not just individual opportunities — flagging risk and building the case for expansion proactively to agency leadership. Leverage your deep understanding of the media landscape and our agency's capabilities to develop and present recommendations, evaluations, and POVs that push our clients' businesses forward.

  • Engagement & Execution Oversight: Provide portfolio-level oversight across multiple Directors' engagements simultaneously, managing long-term, complex marketing engagements with multiple project tracks, including media, CRM, loyalty, and creative. You will oversee the quality and direction of media plan execution across the portfolio, working closely with investment, analytics, and creative teams to ensure all plans adhere to strategy and are delivered flawlessly.

  • Performance & Optimization: Work with media and analytics teams to measure plans against strategic goals across the portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring our work is delivering results and for communicating performance, insights, and optimization strategies back to clients at the executive level.

  • Team Mentorship & Unification: Act as a leader, communicator, and mentor. Manage and unite diverse project teams, fostering a collaborative "we before me" attitude. Lead by example and take an active interest in fostering the talents of those working alongside you, including the Directors who report to you.

  • You have 12+ years of experience in a client services or strategic planning role within a top-tier consulting firm, interactive agency, or media agency, including prior people-management experience.

  • You have proven experience managing and developing Director-level talent, including performance management and career pathing.

  • You have experience operating at the executive/C-suite client level, with a track record of navigating complex, multi-stakeholder client organizations.

  • You possess a deep knowledge of strategic planning best practices, with proven expertise in developing creative, strategic, and optimized media plans for clients.

  • You have extensive knowledge of the integrated media landscape, including both traditional and digital channels.

  • You have proven experience growing a client account, understanding their needs, and leveraging agency services to create new opportunities.

  • You have a strong understanding of the digital project lifecycle, including creative development, web technologies, and third-party vendors, and are always looking for ways to push our work forward.

  • You possess a mastery of media fundamentals, including media math, target audience development, and communication goals, and are familiar with marketing principles and analytics.

  • You are an optimist with the foresight to create solutions before challenges arise, and you thrive on building strong relationships and confidently presenting ideas.

  • You have a "we before me" attitude and excel at uniting and mentoring cross-functional teams.

  • Note: Hybrid work in office is an essential function of the job.
