As the Engineering Manager, you will lead a team responsible for the development and deployment of our industry-leading software. You are a hands-on leader who sweats the details, is obsessed with building amazing teams, has outstanding communication skills, and has a bias for action. The complexity that comes with building and integrating enterprise software is well understood, and you excel at partnering with colleagues across development, product, and the service delivery organizations to understand customer needs and prioritize action.

You have experience working in a hypergrowth organization and enjoy the challenges these opportunities bring. You also process a high level of EQ to understand the needs of the team to fully support them on this journey.

Team Leadership & Development: Inspire, mentor, and guide engineers toward success. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Set clear expectations and support career growth through feedback, coaching, and performance management.

Technical Oversight: Drive the development of scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions. Partners with technical leads to make smart architectural and operational decisions.

Delivery & Execution: Translate business and product strategy into clear, actionable plans for your team. Ensure high-quality execution through agile practices and delivery processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between engineering, product management, customer success, and leadership. Help identify risks, unblock teams, and align technical work with business needs.

Quality & Reliability: Champion a culture of engineering excellence. Support the team in shipping reliable, testable, and maintainable code through best-in-class tools, standards, and processes.

Demonstrated experience in software development, including progressive people management roles.

Ability to identify and continually improve practices to help drive engineering productivity that supports B2B customers and B2B2C customers in a cloud-first environment.

Experience with enterprise software development practices including; high-availability systems, micro-services, full stack technologies.

Deep technical understanding of all major aspects of software development

Airline industry experience is a plus but not a requirement.

Proficient with Agile/Scrum methodologies and in using tools like Jira/Confluence.

Our tech stack consists of React, Vue.js, TypeScript, Node.js, C# / .NET Core, MongoDB, Docker. Experience with one or more of these is desirable

Please note that this role requires three days a week in our Toronto office which is located near Union Station
