ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Primary Responsibility:

Carry out the day-to-day HSSEQ operations and provide technical support to ensure the effective implementation of Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality management systems.
Plan, coordinate and implement HSSEQ campaigns, training, and awareness programs to promote a strong safety culture.
Coordinate internal and external HSSEQ audits, supporting planning, execution, reporting, and close-out of corrective actions to ensure compliance with legal, customer, and company requirements.
Monitor, track, and report HSSEQ compliance, proactively identifying and escalating deviations to minimize risks and improve performance.
Lead and facilitate incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and compliance monitoring to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain HSSEQ records, reports, and statutory documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Support emergency preparedness activities, including drills, response planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide HSSEQ guidance and support to operational teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure safe execution of daily activities.
Monitor HSSEQ performance indicators and prepare monthly reports to support management decision-making and continual improvement.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field.
Advanced computer literacy and proficiency in data management.
Knowledge of Risk Assessment.
Experience and familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 22301.
Exceptional skills in written report writing.
