Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Managing Procurement
    • Place orders for new parts when required and ensure delivery on time from suppliers
    • Price and procure items for the project
    • Gaining multiple quotations to ensure cheapest quote
    • Building a database of pricing to ensure quick and accurate quoting
    • Generating procurement quotes
    • Correct and report any unsafe work practices
  2. Operational Support
    • When requested, do any other tasks around the yard including checklists, cleaning up the yard, etc

Secondary Responsibilities:

  1. Make suggestions to improve storage such as better shelving, re-ordering etc

Skill/Experience Requirements:

  1. 3 Year work experience
  2. Self-motivated and multi-tasker
  3. Fluency in Portuguese, spoken English
  4. Ability to learn quickly

Authority

  1. Drivers
  2. Mechanics

Interfaces:

  1. Project Manager
  2. Workshop staff
  3. Site Leads
  4. Operations Lead
  5. HSSEQ Officer

Safety:

  1. Ensuring the workshop and maintenance activities are carried out safely
  2. Embodying the Alistair Group core values
  3. Leading by example a safe and compliant management style
  4. Successfully implementing ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 for Mozambique Operations
