AEPS Operations & Biometric Specialist Location: New Delhi / NCR Experience: 4–5 Years (Relevant AEPS Experience Mandatory) Role Overview We are looking for an AEPS Operations & Biometric Specialist with strong hands-on experience in AEPS cash withdrawal, biometric authentication, and face ID–based identity validation. The ideal candidate should have previously worked with a payment bank or fintech organization and should be capable of handling end-to-end AEPS transaction operations, including troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and compliance alignment. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end AEPS cash withdrawal transactions Monitor transaction success/failure trends and resolve AEPS-related issues Handle biometric authentication failures, UIDAI-related errors, and retries Biometric & Face ID Management Deep understanding of fingerprint biometric devices (RD services, device errors, certification issues) Handle face authentication / face ID flows associated with AEPS Coordinate with biometric device vendors and RD service providers Troubleshoot issues related to UIDAI authentication, device mismatch, and latency Vendor & Bank Coordination Liaise with payment banks, sponsor banks, and AEPS service providers Coordinate with NPCI/UIDAI ecosystem partners for issue resolution Support onboarding and certification of biometric devices and updates Compliance & Controls Ensure AEPS operations are aligned with NPCI and UIDAI guidelines Support audit, compliance checks, and operational SOPs Maintain documentation for AEPS processes, error codes, and resolutions Internal Support Act as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) for AEPS-related escalations Support customer care and ops teams with root-cause analysis Required Skills & Experience 4–5 years of hands-on AEPS experience in a payment bank or fin-tech Strong knowledge of: AEPS cash withdrawal flow Biometric authentication (fingerprint) Face authentication / Face ID in AEPS RD services & biometric device ecosystems Experience handling UIDAI / NPCI-related issues Familiarity with AEPS error codes, timeouts, and reconciliation issues Good coordination skills with banks, vendors, and internal teams Preferred Background Prior experience with Airtel Payments Bank /Fino Payments Bank /Paytm Payments Bank / similar fintechs Exposure to high-volume AEPS transaction environments What We’re Looking For Strong problem-solving mindset Hands-on operational expertise (not just coordination) Ability to work under transaction pressure and resolve critical issues Ownership-driven and process-oriented Compensation & Growth High-impact role in a core fin-tech product AEPS Transaction Operations Support reconciliation and settlement coordination for AEPS transactions Assist product/tech teams with AEPS enhancements and fixes Understanding of AEPS settlement and dispute handling Opportunity to grow into AEPS Product / Ops Lead role over time
