Responsibilities

- Conduct one-on-one enrollment consultations with prospective students and families.
- Evaluate eligibility and enrollment readiness in accordance with Job Corps requirements in accordance with Job Corps Policy and Requirements Handbook (PRH) guidelines.
- Guide students through the application and enrollment process while reducing barriers to participation.
- Develop individualized enrollment plans and maintain regular communication with prospects throughout the decision-making process.
- Utilize software technology and enrollment management systems to track student engagement and progression through the enrollment funnel.
- Execute lead follow-up strategies that improve application completion and enrollment conversion rates.
- Develop and implement digital recruitment strategies across social media, text messaging, email marketing, virtual events, and online outreach platforms.
- Engage prospective students through personalized communication campaigns and automated enrollment workflows.
- Host virtual information sessions, webinars, career exploration workshops, and enrollment events.
- Respond promptly to inquiries generated through digital advertising, social media channels, websites, and referral partners.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop content that highlights student success stories, career pathways, industry credentials, and employment outcomes.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with: High schools and alternative education programs, Workforce development agencies, American Job Centers, Community colleges and technical schools, Youth-serving organizations, Social service agencies, and Community-based organizations
- Represent Job Corps at career fairs, college access events, workforce development initiatives, and community engagement activities.
- Serve as a trusted resource regarding education, career training, workforce credentials, and employment opportunities.
- Develop referral networks that support sustainable enrollment growth through community advisory boards, workforce councils, and collaborative initiatives.
- Help prospective students identify career interests and educational goals.
- Provide guidance regarding career pathways, credential attainment, apprenticeship opportunities, and employment outcomes.
- Educate students and families on program expectations, support services, and available resources.
- Promote informed enrollment decisions that contribute to student persistence and long-term success.
- Maintain accurate student records within CRM and enrollment systems.
- Monitor key enrollment performance indicators and conversion metrics.
- Analyze recruitment and enrollment data to identify trends and improve performance.
- Prepare reports and enrollment forecasts for leadership and government stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Job Corps policies, privacy standards, and documentation requirements.
- Collaborate with center staff to support successful student transitions from enrollment to arrival.
- Participate in re-engagement strategies for inactive applicants and former students.
- Support initiatives designed to improve student retention and completion outcomes.
- Promote a culture of student success through mentorship, professionalism, and positive youth development practices.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Education, Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Communications, Social Work, or a related field
- Associate degree plus two years of experience in: Admissions, Enrollment management, Student recruitment, Higher education, Counseling, Case management, or Youth services
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Experience utilizing AI-powered tools and digital technologies to increase productivity, improve recruitment outcomes, automate routine tasks, develop communications content, and identify innovative approaches to student outreach and enrollment.
- Experience in higher education admissions, enrollment management, workforce development, Job Corps, or career and technical education environments.
- Experience utilizing CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Slate, TargetX, HubSpot, Ellucian Recruit, or similar systems.
- Experience conducting presentations, virtual events, and public speaking engagements.
- Experience with social media marketing, digital outreach, and lead generation campaigns.
- Knowledge of student enrollment funnels, conversion strategies, and retention best practices.
- Student-centered approach to recruitment and enrollment.
- Strong relationship-building and consultative communication skills.
- Ability to engage diverse student populations and families.
- Knowledge of enrollment management principles and recruitment best practices.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and web-based technologies.
- Ability to analyze enrollment data and translate insights into action.
- Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.

Success in this role is measured through enrollment outcomes rather than activity counts.
Key performance indicators may include:
- Enrollment Funnel Metrics: Leads generated, Qualified inquiries, Applications completed, Application-to-enrollment conversion rate, Enrollment-to-arrival conversion rate, Yield rate by recruitment source
- Student Success Metrics: 30-day retention, 60-day retention, 90-day retention, Student engagement outcomes, and Student satisfaction measures
- Partnership & Outreach Metrics: Referral partner productivity, Community partnership development, Event conversion rates, and Workforce and education partnership engagement
- Operational Metrics: CRM utilization and data integrity, Compliance and documentation accuracy, Enrollment forecast accuracy, Cost per enrollment, and Contribution to center enrollment goals
This position operates in a hybrid recruitment environment that includes office-based work, virtual engagement, community outreach, workforce development events, local travel, and occasional evening or weekend activities.
