As our teams continue to grow, we are looking for an inspiring and experienced Embedded SW Manager / Director to lead our software teams to help us deliver and support the groundbreaking families of Ensemble and Balletto Micro Controllers that have received a lot of industry attention.

As an Embedded SW Manager / Director, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful development and delivery of the Ensemble and Balletto microcontroller product families. You will be working closely with development teams, application engineering teams and marketing to develop and maintain key embedded software and applications for Alif’s products.

The role will have the following responsibilities:

·       Assuming overall responsibility of embedded software development deliverables

·       Planning and managing the work of embedded software development and application engineering teams, including planning and delivery of software releases

·       Planning and reporting of status and progress

·       Leading and enabling the success and growth of our software teams

·       Cooperating and coordinating across teams in software, application engineering, marketing and external contractors across global sites and teams to ensure flawless delivery of our initiatives

·       Contribution to the development of Software Engineering practices locally and globally

·       Participating in the hiring of future SW talents

 

The role will be built around the expertise you have, but here’s some requirements that we feel may be beneficial:

·       Evidence of successful leadership in embedded software engineering

·       Excellent interpersonal communication skills and proactive, can-do attitude

·       Excellent people skills

·       Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with experience in Embedded Systems

·       Background in Software Development with hands-on experience from Embedded Software

·       Knowledge of embedded software architectures and development environments and tooling

·       Proven track record of delivering quality software on or before schedule

·       Ability to handle and work with not well defined and/or changing requirements
