Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Review plans, specifications, and customer bid requests to prepare accurate plumbing estimates
- →Enter and manage quotes in PACE Supply's operating system
- →Maintain job folders, Smartsheets quote logs, and related documentation
- →Solicit quotes from vendors/representatives, secure price protections, and verify accuracy
- →Communicate proactively with customers (e.g., confirm bid requests, clarify details, address "no bid" items, and deliver bids at least 48 hours before due dates)
- →Coordinate with Account Managers, Project Managers, and adjacent divisions for pricing and updates
- →Ensure seamless internal/external communication with a strong focus on detail and timeliness
Requirements
~2 min read- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of experience in plumbing inside sales, estimating, or a related role (finish plumbing experience preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage complex projects
- Proactive mindset: thrive with minimal guidance, handle uncertainty, and take initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, computer-based environment
- Familiarity with plumbing/finish products or quoting processes
- Experience with ATS, CRM, or estimating software

Physical Requirements:
- The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly. This includes carrying, dragging, and walking with materials, as well as using a hand-truck.
- Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Environmental Conditions:
- The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
- Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to high, precarious places and vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
