Our Innovative Pain Clinic private practice is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our amazing team! This position is responsible for rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting with regenerative medicine injection procedures guided by ultrasound and x-ray, phlebotomy, and processing blood and bone marrow.

The ideal candidate works well in a team environment, has great communication skills, is technologically savvy, and has the adaptability needed to take on whatever challenges the day may bring.  We are seeking someone with phlebotomy skills and experience rooming patients and taking vitals. This position is located in our Bellevue office. We are seeking candidates to work 36 - 40 hours each week, with availability Tuesday through Saturday, between 830am-630pm.  Our team must be flexible to physician schedule changes as well.

This is a great position for gap year medical students or those pursuing a path in the medical field.  Biology and Chemistry degrees are highly desirable, and physician mentorship along with a letter of recommendation would potentially be available. A 2-year commitment is necessary for letters of recommendation.

We offer a comprehensive compensation package
  • $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, DOE
  • Spot bonus opportunities based on personal performance
  • Annual bonus opportunity based on clinic performance

Key Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:
  • Room patients and gown patients appropriately.
  • Clean exam rooms and public spaces as needed.
  • Maintain a professional environment.
  • Comfort patients by anticipating patients’ anxieties, answering patients’ questions, and maintaining the clinic in a clean and safe manner.
  • Provide information to patients regarding pre-procedure requirements and post-procedure recovery protocols
  • Monitor each provider’s schedule for supplies needed.
  • Provide general patient care service.
  • Maintain and file patient documents relevant to patient care.
  • Participate in clinic training and maintenance as needed.
  • Ensure that patient needs are met while in the clinic, including help changing into gowns.
  • Help coordinating imaging services, referrals, and prescriptions
  • Collecting and sending medical records to prepare charts
  • Drawing blood for procedures
  • Processing blood and bone marrow for procedures in sterile hood
  • Assisting ultrasound and x-ray examinations
  • Monitor supplies and maintain medical equipment

What the Successful Medical Assistant will have: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of medical terminology experience. (Required)
  • 1+ year of Apple computer platform experience. (Required)
  • 1+ year of medical service experience. (Preferred)
  • Experience rooming patients and answering patients’ basic medical procedure questions
  • Phlebotomy and lab skills
  • Comfortable with all forms of technology and Mac/Apple products. Because our clinic is always using the most advanced technology, you will learn many valuable advanced skills here!
  • Must be well organized, detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fun, dynamic personality.
  • Reliable transportation; this job requires working on-site in Bellevue.
  • 1+ year of medical terminology experience. (Required)
  • 1+ year of Apple computer platform experience. (Required)
  • 1+ year of medical service experience. (Preferred)

Our Bellevue Private Practice office is an interventional orthopedics and pain practice (injections to joints, nerves, and spine), prescribing almost zero opioid medications.
