Senior Associate (Commercial Finance) - APAC Region

To support our continuous growth, we are looking for a proactive individual to assist with all month-end close-related activities for our APAC entities in Greater China, South Korea, and Japan, and to liaise closely with the business as well as with specialised functions in the broader AlphaSights Finance team. Based in our Hong Kong office, you will have a broad range of responsibilities, ranging from:

• Assisting with the preparation of regional monthly management accounts and for closing and reporting the results to the Group Finance function while ensuring full compliance with applicable statutory requirements
• Production of detailed balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Variance analysis on monthly accounts for the region against the budget and the prior year
• Commercial business partnering support to senior stakeholders across the business, offering recommendations and insights based on high-quality financial information 
• Supporting the Senior Finance Leadership team with the decision-making process and any ad hoc requests

• 3+ years of experience in a management accounting role, ideally in a high-growth environment
• Strong business partnering skills and the maturity to confidently deal with Finance and non-Finance stakeholders at all levels

• Bachelor's degree, with strong academic credentials
• An accounting qualification, part-qualified or fully qualified (CIMA/AICPA, ACCA, HKICPA or equivalent)
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential; fluency in Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese is a plus

• High level of autonomy and ownership of role from day one
