Corporate HQ Intern
Responsibilities:
- Position will be part-time (30 hours per week).
- Intern projects across various corporate departments – Business Development, Security, Finance and Accounting, Contracts, Subcontracts
- Prepare reports, presentation for the Altamira leadership team
- Greet guests with courtesy and provide appropriate welcome.
- Answer main phone line and properly route calls, or take messages as applicable.
- Update and maintain rosters, files, binders, and electronic records.
- Print/Scan/Fax/Copy.
- Handle mail and dispatch deliveries.
- Process corporate facilities requests.
- Manage conference room calendars.
- Order and maintain all corporate office supply inventories.
- Order, stock and organize break room supplies.
- Support corporate events.
- Support and travel at times to the Altamira Warrenton office.
Qualifications:
- Ability to set priorities, work with limited oversight, and communicate effectively. The successful candidate will be able to stay organized and plan ahead proactively for routine tasks as well as unique events.
- Proficiency in the use of business software applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational skills.
- Proven office administrative skills.
- Ability to apply problem solving solutions by mastering the role and learning the organization.
- Present a positive and personal demeanor with an ability to interact with both internal and external contacts at all levels.
- High school and 5+ years of experience providing support in a corporate environment. Bachelor’s degree preferred, in Business Administration or similar.
- The candidate must be a U.S. citizen, and be willing to be put in for a government clearance, if needed.
