The Registrar Office at ALU plays a key role in ensuring our student data is centralized, accurate, trustworthy and compliant as well as implementing academic processes that allow the institution to function in a routine, compliant and streamlined manner.

In creating a world class education experience, the Academic Vertical plays an integral role in  ensuring our academic operations and regulations are smoothly implemented, communicated and  adhered to by all internal and external stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff and regulators.  The team is made up of various functions, including the Registrar’s Office. You will report to the  Registrar and will play an integral role in collaborating with other operational departments to ensure  quality within the Registry Operations. 

• →Responsible for handling academic admin Freshdesk requests and the AA inbox
• →Document (and update documentation of) key procedures under their purview
• →Lead on wider Registrar Office operational activities. (Matriculation, Course evaluations,Scheduling,Calendaring, Attendance, Term registration, Exams, Grades, Progression, Graduation and alike)
• →May be asked to sit on a limited no. of academic committees and reports back on progress to the Registry Operations.
• →Develop ML predictive and prescriptive models based on the existing historical data to address the current planning & forecasting gaps.

• A Bachelor's degree and at least 1-3 years worth of experience in a junior administrative role.
•  You need to have some experience in Academic-admin or/& Admin-operations with proven experience working with multiple stakeholders.
• Must be able to work on your own with little supervision, and are able to collaborate with others.
• Have very good Admin & prioritisation skills.
• Show a growth mindset and know how to learn on the job where necessary.
• Pay meticulous attention to detail while processing large data sets.
• Able to use appropriate language to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to all relevant Stakeholders.
• Have proficiency in Data Analytics with bias to ML and BI solutions.
• Have proficiency in using Google Suite including, but not limited to Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides.
