## In one sentence
The Immigration Specialist provides operational immigration support with a primary focus on Mexico and Latin America immigration operations. The role is responsible for executing assigned case activities, supporting employees and internal teams, and coordinating with immigration authorities and providers in compliance with established policies. The role operates as an individual contributor, performing assigned immigration activities under the guidance of regional leadership. The Immigration Specialist – Mexico & Latin America will be the designated main point of contact before Mexican immigration authorities (INM) and act as an authorized company signatory for Mexico immigration matters within a defined, limited scope.
## What will your job look like?
* Act as the primary operational liaison with INM for assigned Mexico immigration cases.
* Execute immigration filings, submissions, and follow‑ups with INM in accordance with approved procedures.
* Sign immigration documents and applications as an authorized signatory, limited to standard case execution and documentation.
* Prepare and submit case documentation using approved templates and guidance.
* Coordinate internal inputs, approvals, and timelines as defined in process documentation.
* Liaise with external immigration providers to track and support case progression.
* Support compliance by adhering to defined guidelines and promptly escalating complex, non‑routine, or high‑risk matters per established escalation protocols.
* Provide procedural and factual guidance to employees and internal stakeholders regarding Mexico immigration processes.
* Direct policy interpretation, exemptions, or strategic questions to senior immigration leadership.
* Monitor regulatory updates affecting Mexico immigration and submit summaries for review by leadership.

## All you need is...
* 2 years - legal/immigration experience – an advantage
* Experience acting as an authorized immigration signatory or managing filings with government authorities
* Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
* Strong organizational, coordination, and execution skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
Preferred
Hands‑on experience with Mexico immigration processes and interaction with INM
* * Exposure to Latin America immigration processes
* Experience coordinating with external immigration vendors
* Familiarity with AI‑enabled productivity tools (e.g., Copilot)
