Responsibilities
~1 min readThe Coordinator of Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) site visits provides coordination of the operational and logistical activities site visits (200+ site visits annually involving 600+ volunteer site visitors) of dental education, advanced dental education and allied dental education programs.
This role provides support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of site visitor trainings and process updates. Through effective organization, communication, and project management, this position helps ensure the efficient and consistent administration of CODA’s accreditation site visits.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree or experience in lieu of degree
- 3 years experience (or 7 years in lieu of degree) in/with:
- progressively responsible administrative, program management
- coordinating complex schedules, managing multiple concurrent projects, and serving as a primary liaison among diverse stakeholders
- demonstrated experience organizing large-scale events involving multiple participants and strict deadlines
- processing documentation, maintaining detailed records, coordinating travel logistics, and managing reimbursement
- working with volunteers, committees, or professional organizations

Knowledge of administrative and project coordination principles

Knowledge of business travel, meeting logistics, reimbursement processing, invoice management, and related administrative procedures

Strong understanding of customer service principles and stakeholder relationship management in a professional and service-oriented environment
- Excellent organizational, communication, customer service, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Able to coordinate numerous concurrent activities, deadlines, and priorities with a high degree of accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, database or document management systems
- Travel twice per year, 1-3 nights per trip, to observe in-person site visits for process improvements and/or attendance at in-person CODA meetings and stakeholder conferences
- Position may require before or after hours work
