Job Summary
A Staffing Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing and scheduling workers to ensure that the company's labor requirements and needs are fulfilled and makes specific decisions regarding patient placement including the allocation of nursing personnel.
Schedule Details
Location: Fully Remote
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM CST
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Regional Director of Nursing and the Pharmacy Team to facilitate and oversee nursing care coordination.
- Review intakes, draft referrals, and secure nursing care for patients with experienced RNs in the Home or Infusion Center setting.
- Communicate effectively with patients and nurses to provide safe and quality services.
- Organize, maintain, and communicate patient care information/documents to internal and external staff.
- Ensure clear and concise documentation within EMR systems.
- Ensure compliance with external standards and regulations.
- Serve as a liaison between interdisciplinary teams.
- Set up and assist in maintaining RN work schedules to ensure staffing requirements are met.
- Serving as a liaison between the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintaining daily staffing reports and providing weekly updates to management.
- Additional duties and responsibilities in different areas of the department on an as-needed basis or determined by management.
- Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, collaboration, and service excellence.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience as a staffing/scheduling coordinator or in a similar role.
- General knowledge of medical terminology.
- Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and operate within several different computer software systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Google Suite (i.e. Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Mail, etc.)
