Position Summary
The Manager of Clinical Quality role ensures quality and fidelity of clinical services for youth with integrity and compliance (AMIkids requirements and Local, State and Federal regulatory requirements governing clinical services). Provide comprehensive oversight of mental health and substance abuse clinical services.
Essential Job Duties:
- Track/monitor Behavioral Health services to include grants and MOUs, data reporting/deliverables, fidelity, quality improvement (monitoring & initiatives),
- Ensure alignment with contract(s) and AMIkids requirements and applicable regulations,
- Conduct root cause analysis for deficiencies and implement corrective action plan(s),
- Develop, maintain and implement new hire & programming training and training to enhance professional development,
- Collaborate with appropriate parties related to the development, implementation, and evaluation of the behavioral health policies, protocols, and treatment models,
- Effectively implement AMIkids Way (Kids First, Safety, and Family) and key elements of Positive Youth Development (Relationships, Meaningful Participation, Community Involvement, and Challenged & Engaged Programming) and the AMIkids Personal Growth Model (PGM) in all interactions with youth,
- Integrate and oversee the AMIkids Personal Growth Model (PGM) along with the Behavioral Health initiatives,
- Enforce policies and procedures (may create); plan organize and direct established Program goals and objectives aligned with regulatory, accreditation, managed care, and contract requirements,
- Lead client record review PQI subcommittee, evaluate results, provide feedback, create tools to support programming,
- Align Behavioral Health Services with AMIkids mission, values and strategic priorities, and ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services at Programs,
- Participate in ongoing monitoring of CARF standards, preparatory tasks for audits, and audit participation,
- Respond to internal/external audits and regulatory reviews timely,
- Generate and present reports,
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, regulatory requirements, research and review of Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Community Mental Health Service manuals, journals, and publications,
- Collaborate with Behavioral Health leadership on initiatives to expand services and partnerships,
- Provide timely information to enable the Board to function effectively and make informed decisions,
- Build/maintain effective relationships with internal and external parties,
- Attend and maintain CPR and First Aid certification by nationally recognized organization,
- May drive for other work-related tasks,
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
Minimum Education, Training and Experience
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or counseling related field,
- Three (3) years relevant work experience, preferably with youth,
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
- Effective communication skills (verbal & written),
- Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
