Material Operations Clerk

• →Materials Planning 
• →Interfaces with the Customer on the planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipments
• →Monitor material demand
• →Maintain and distribute daily/weekly run schedule
• →Maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements and company financial goals

• →Inventory Management
• →Communicate with plant colleagues on inventories and anticipated production needs
• →Ensure and capture inventory accuracy of downgraded and rejected material from suppliers, in process and postproduction
• →Responsible for total inventory accuracy of 98%+ in value
• →Ensure material storage is in compliance with standards
• →Logistics
• →Oversee procedures for shipping, receiving and storing raw materials
• →Organize and manage deliveries, advise shipment delays and/or information necessary to set up deliveries. Initiate traces with carriers for proof of deliveries when needed
• →Resolve invoicing issues in cooperation with suppliers and accounts payable
• →Participate in the annual physical inventory
• →Ensure that the company’s standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all materials department functions
• →General
• →Ensures that equipment is properly cleaned and stored at the end of each shift.
• →Adheres to all company and regulatory safety standards and rules.
• →Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

• Travel as needed - up to 10% *Please note: this role requires travel.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• APICS certification (e.g. CPIM) preferred

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

• Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30 pm or 7am to 5:30pm
• Occasional Fridays as needed
• Weekends off!
