Customs Executive

AMSM is seeking to recruit a Customs Executive to join our Shipping Department on a full-time basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepare and process all customs documentation to ensure timely clearance and release of goods
• Liaise with suppliers, shipping agents, cargo handlers and Customs authorities to coordinate smooth import operations
• Complete NSO and customs declarations, ensuring accurate calculation and payment of duties, taxes and port charges
• Manage delivery orders, port documentation and Customs bookings for container/trailer release
• Monitor shipment arrivals, resolve clearance issues proactively, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

YOUR PROFILE

• A-Level standard of education or similar qualification,
• Minimum of 4-year experience within a similar role,
• Good command of English and / or Maltese languages.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office – especially Word and Excel,
• Comprehensive shipping and logistics knowledge
• Hands-on experience with shipping and distribution software will be considered an asset.
