Our center is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse that is skilled, compassionate, professional, and is committed to providing excellent quality care in an Outpatient Endoscopy Center. You will play a critical role in providing pre and post procedural care for endoscopy procedures.

Available shifts Monday-Friday, 6:45 am-3 pm and 7:45 am-4:00 pm.

Requirements

  • Outgoing, positive attitude toward co-employees, management, patients, visitors, and physicians.
  • Ability to think critically, make logical decisions, and solve problems.
  • Strong ethical and moral character references
  • Proficient and respectful communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of nursing techniques.
  • Basic computer skills
  • One (1) year of ICU, Outpatient surgical prep/recovery, PACU, Endoscopy.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Active South Carolina RN license or compact state license.
  • CPR certification and ACLS certification 

Responsibilities

  • Organizes nursing activities efficiently and effectively.
  • Uses proper techniques and procedures according to accepted standards of practice.
  • Addresses patient needs specific to the anticipated procedure.
  • Provides comfort and reassurance to each patient.
  • Maintains patients privacy and dignity.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide safe continuity of patient care.
  • Actively participates as a team member in support of the total endoscopy process.
  • Supervises and directs patient care in pre, intra and post- op.
