Registered Nurse (RN) – Pre-Op / PACU (Full-Time, No Weekends!)

Digestive Health Center of Plano is seeking a Full-Time Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to join our team Monday through Friday—no weekends, holidays, or on-call.

• →Prepare patients for procedures, including assessments, education, and care planning
• →Provide attentive post-anesthesia recovery care and monitor patient status
• →Administer medications and follow physician orders accurately
• →Deliver patient education, including discharge instructions and follow-up care
• →Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
• →Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards
• →Support a safe, clean, and efficient clinical environment
• →Participate in quality improvement initiatives

• Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills
• Ability to multitask effectively in a procedural environment
• Clear, professional communication skills
• Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance
• Team‑focused mindset with accountability and professionalism

• Active RN license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience (GI, PACU, OR, or acute care preferred)
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and assist with patient movement (up to 50 pounds)
• Manual dexterity and ability to perform clinical procedures
• Work in procedure rooms with medical equipment and disinfecting agents
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and body fluids
• Climate‑controlled environment with occasional reduced lighting
• Schedule and hours may vary based on patient and Center needs
