- Provide hands-on engineering support to manufacturing and service teams.
- Troubleshoot issues involving equipment, tooling, automation, materials, and processes.
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions that stick.
- Analyze production data to spot trends, recurring issues, and risks before they become problems.
- Develop permanent, scalable solutions that stabilize and improve production.
- Track key metrics—downtime, scrap, yield, rework—to understand process health.
- Use data and cross-functional insights to anticipate constraints or failures.
- Build control plans, standard work, and monitoring systems that prevent repeat issues.
- Maintain clear documentation of issues, actions, and lessons learned.
- Program, modify, and support automation systems including PLCs, robotics, and automated assembly/test equipment.
- Support equipment setup, optimization, troubleshooting, and validation.
- Partner with Maintenance and vendors to boost automation reliability.
- Identify new automation opportunities that improve safety, throughput, and cost.
- Develop and execute improvement strategies aligned with business goals.
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and CI initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
- Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and standardization.
- Strengthen long-term manufacturing capability, scalability, and resilience.
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions, routings, and tooling.
- Ensure processes are robust, repeatable, and capable of meeting quality and production targets.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) through DFM/DFA reviews and process validation.
- Keep manufacturing documentation accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Engineering.
- Support quality investigations, CAPA, and audit activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality systems and regulatory requirements.
Requirements

- 5 –10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or production support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a track record of implementing lasting corrective actions.
- Experience with automation systems (PLC, robotics, automated assembly/test equipment).
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, controls, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and anticipate operational risks.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Nice to Have

- Lean, Six Sigma, or similar CI certification.
- Project management or automation implementation experience.
