At Andaria, an EMI based in Malta & UK, we’re seeking a highly motivated Commercial Relationship Manager to join our commercial team in Malta.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Business Development and Chief Commercial Officer and will take on a wide range of responsibilities, including:
Responsibilities include:
- Own and develop a portfolio of existing clients, acting as their primary commercial point of contact and building long-term, trusted relationships.
- Drive revenue growth across the existing client base by identifying cross-sell, upsell and expansion opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of each client's business model, transaction flows, commercial objectives and product usage.
- Monitor portfolio performance, including transaction volumes, margins and account activity, implementing growth plans where required.
- Lead commercial discussions including pricing reviews, contract renewals, amendments and commercial negotiations.
- Proactively identify and mitigate churn risks by maintaining regular client engagement and coordinating timely resolution of issues.
- Work closely with Compliance, Onboarding, Operations, Product and Finance teams to deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Support the Business Development team with the onboarding and commercial transition of new clients when required.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, account plans, forecasts and reporting on portfolio performance and commercial opportunities.
- Represent Andaria at industry events, strengthening client relationships and identifying market opportunities and feedback.
To fit within the Andaria team and as our new Commercial Relationship Manager, you should have:
- Proven experience in Relationship Management, Account Management or Commercial roles within payments, fintech, banking, EMI, PSP or financial services.
- Demonstrated success in growing existing client revenue through account expansion and cross-selling.
- Strong commercial acumen with confidence in negotiating pricing, contracts and commercial terms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships at senior executive level.
- Highly organised, self-motivated and capable of managing multiple client relationships simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of regulated financial services and the balance between commercial growth, compliance and risk.
- Based in Malta with flexibility to travel when required.
