Responsibilities

→Control entrances and manage traffic
→Patrol buildings and surrounding areas
→Escort personnel and materials
→Conduct inspections of security and fire exposures
→Complete Daily Activity and Incident Reports
→Respond to alarms and emergencies
→Communicate daily with supervisors
→Responsible for the training and onboarding of all new security officers.
→Provide hands-on training to ensure new officers understand site policies, procedures, post orders, and expectations.
→Serve as a liaison between officers and supervisors, helping address questions, concerns, and operational issues.
→Serve as a subject matter expert on security operations and procedures across all shifts.
→Conduct on-the-job training and provide coaching to officers to improve performance and ensure compliance.
→Evaluate new officers’ performance and provide feedback to supervisors regarding training progress and readiness.
→Assist supervisors with identifying training needs and developing additional training when necessary.
→Ensure officers are properly prepared to perform their assigned duties and respond effectively to incidents.
→Maintain consistent training standards across all shifts and posts.
→Reinforce company, client, and property policies and procedures through ongoing coaching and instruction.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
3–6 months security or life‑safety experience
State Guard license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks
