Responsibilities

→Prepare environmental permit applications and reports for client projects, facilities, and operations.
→Manage environmental compliance data. Complete accurate, timely reports for wastewater, stormwater, and air emission permits.
→Write and update facility plans, including stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs) and spill prevention, control and countermeasure (SPCC) plans.
→Navigate state and federal permitting and reporting platforms.
→Research and review environmental regulations at the federal, state and local levels; including SPCC, NPDES & discharge permitting, chemical inventory reporting, hazardous waste management.
→Client interaction and relationship development, including onsite and virtual client meetings. Travel up to 25%.

→Flexible working conditions. In office, hybrid or remote. Occasional office meetings and client site visits.

BA/BS degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Engineering, Biology, Geology, or related discipline.
0-3+ years of professional experience in consulting or industry.
Technical and scientific knowledge to understand and evaluate environmental impact from client operations, laboratory analytical results, and field reports.
Ability to successfully multi-task and problem-solve while maintaining quality and managing your own time.
Strong communication skills and collaborative work ethic.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required.
Familiarity with applicable environmental programs including but not limited to Stormwater, SPCC, Hazardous Waste, and minor source air permitting, recordkeeping and reporting is a plus.

Annual Expected Pay Range

$50,000—$60,000 USD
