Location: Must reside in S. FL. Can work remote out of S. Florida with occasional visits to Miami Lakes office.

Responsibilities

→Prepare due diligence (ASTM Phase I/Phase II) reports and mentor staff through due diligence projects.
→Gather, analyze, and interpret technical data.
→Prepare environmental technical reports.
→Mentor staff through the collection of soil, soil vapor, water, and/or air samples utilizing different sampling techniques.
→Prepare Florida-specific regulatory reports, environmental site assessments, and assist projects through remediation.
→Assistance with the preparation of proposals and scopes of work
→Actively develop your own career growth with opportunities to assist with field and reporting tasks.
→Work directly with staff and management-level team members with field and reporting responsibilities.

BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Engineering or other related field.
Professional license track preferred (P.G. or P.E.)
4+ years of experience with environmental field sampling, data collection, and technical report preparation.
Experience with Florida-specific environmental programs and familiarity with South Florida hydrogeology.
The ability to successfully multi-task, strong safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices.
40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
Light remediation construction experience/hands-on skills a plus.
Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required.
Strong communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
