What We Offer

Starting Hourly Rate $19.00+ based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Read and understand picksheets to pull parts for assembly
  • Produce finished components per the specification indicated on blueprints.
  • Check quality of parts, equipment, and assembled product at every step in the assembly process and notify supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered
  • Prepare units for shipment by constructing skids and boxes as required. Paints, stencils, and affixes nameplates as required.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of tools and equipment provided.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of work area.
  • Comply with all of the ISO 9001 Quality standards, policies and procedures of API.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 
  • Mechanical aptitude and a functional knowledge of hand tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure.
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time
  • Ability to navigate computer systems used to manage and track orders (Plex)
  • Meet required Quality standards of your position and level
  • Meet required Productivity standards of your position and level

 

Requirements

  1. Standing:
    Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours per shift).
  2. Walking:
    Frequent walking throughout the production floor.
  3. Lifting and Carrying:
    • Regularly lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.
    • Occasionally lift heavier items (up to 75 pounds) with assistance or equipment.
  4. Pushing and Pulling:
    Use of manual or mechanical means to push/pull carts, equipment, or materials.
  5. Repetitive Motions:
    Frequent use of hands and wrists for repetitive tasks (e.g., assembling, sorting, packaging).
  6. Manual Dexterity:
    Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle small parts or tools.
  7. Climbing:
    Occasional use of ladders or steps to reach equipment or storage areas.
  8. Visual and Hearing Requirements:
    • Sufficient vision (with or without correction) to read labels, safety signs, and equipment gauges.
    • Adequate hearing (with or without aids) to respond to alarms and verbal instructions in a noisy environment.
  9. Environmental Tolerance:
    • Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot, cold, or humid conditions).
    • Exposure to noise, dust, odors, and manufacturing chemicals.
    • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
