Responsibilities
~1 min read- Analyze current manufacturing processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flow maps.
- Design and optimize tools, fixtures, and equipment used in production.
- Provide day‑to‑day engineering support for production lines, including troubleshooting equipment issues, evaluating nonconformances, and resolving process deviations.
- Partner with Quality to conduct root cause analyses (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
- Coordinate trials, tests, and validation activities for new processes, materials, or equipment.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally on cost‑reduction, cycle‑time reduction, and throughput improvement initiatives.
- Support the introduction of new or updated products into manufacturing by defining process requirements, creating work instructions, and ensuring successful production ramp-up.
- Ensure all processes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in risk assessments, PFMEAs, and ergonomics reviews.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Proven experience improving manufacturing processes and solving complex technical problems.
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and communicate technical information effectively.
Requirements
~1 min read- Experience in metal fabrication, welding, brazing, or heat exchanger manufacturing environments.
- Working knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.
- Experience with PLC-controlled machinery and equipment troubleshooting.
- Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean certification, or comparable training.
- Familiarity with PFMEA, control plans, and structured problem-solving tools (8D, A3).
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills

- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
Requirements
~1 min read- Ability to move throughout a manufacturing facility, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to wear required PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.).
