Student Community Manager

What You’ll Do:

Drive Student Success & Retention:

1. Own student retention by building strong relationships, monitoring engagement, and proactively supporting users throughout their learning and career journeys.
2. Identify users who may be disengaging, understand their challenges, and create timely interventions that help them stay motivated and achieve successful outcomes.
3. You will drive measurable retention and student-success metrics through creative, engaging strategies.

Own the Onboarding Experience:

1. Onboard users with energy, ensuring they’re engaged, prepped, and ready for long-term success. Show them the Apna Advantage platform and drive early adoption.

Be the Career Coach:

1. Guide users through every stage of their career—be it preparing for a new job, negotiating salaries, or navigating appraisals.
2. Offer personalized coaching and share tailored resources to ensure users achieve their career goals and remain engaged throughout the program.

Drive Engagement & Upskilling:

1. Curate and share upskilling resources, keeping users motivated and on track with career progression through Apna Advantage’s features like vision roadmaps and career pathway planning.
2. Help users leverage all the benefits of Apna Advantage to enhance their profiles and career journeys.

User Feedback, Social Content & Referral Support:

1. Engage users for valuable feedback, creating UGC content for marketing and sales efforts.
2. Encourage satisfied users to share their success stories and participate in referral campaigns, supporting monthly referral targets as a tertiary KPI.
3. Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns that improve engagement and help convert registrations into admissions.

• Education background in psychology or business administration would be an advantage! But we are degree agnostic.

• You want to drive measurable student outcomes, with retention as the primary KPI, engagement and platform adoption as secondary KPIs, and referrals as a tertiary KPI.
• You’ve either managed teams before or are ready to step up, operating at the intersection of community, operations, and support.

How You’ll Spend Your Day-to-Day

1. You’ll be the go-to career guide for users, actively engaging with them at every step of their journey.
2. Each day, you’ll onboard, coach, upskill, and provide personalized support to users—whether it’s about job prep, salary negotiations, career transitions, or staying on track with their program.
3. You’ll monitor student engagement, proactively connect with users who may need additional support, and create interventions that strengthen retention and successful outcomes.
4. You’ll bring a high-energy approach, ensuring Apna Advantage is top-of-mind for education, career challenges, and goals.
