✓Conducts physical security audits and inspections of credit union facilities.

✓Manages access control, including issuing and disabling access badges and monitoring visitor access

✓Assists with security investigations, completes incident reports, and supports response to security-related incidents.

✓Assesses and responds to external threats affecting credit union facilities, employees, or operations.

✓Serves as a liaison to law enforcement and external security partners, as appropriate.

✓Monitors security cameras and alarm systems to ensure proper operation and coordinates vendor service calls when issues are identified.

✓Documents monthly branch alarm testing and maintains related records.

✓Investigates, tracks, and reports false alarm activity and related charges.

✓Provides support to management in developing, maintaining, and testing the organization’s Business Continuity, Pandemic, Disaster Recovery, and Emergency Management Plans.

✓Assists with the development and delivery of security, emergency management, and business continuity training.

✓Compiles security data, prepares reports, and provides management with timely updates on security trends, incidents, and follow-up activities.

✓Maintains awareness of applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations related to the position, including BSA/AML, OFAC, physical security, privacy, and other requirements relevant to the Security Specialist role.
