Manufacturing Engineer V

Role Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain all methods, operating sequences, and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies; lead projects as needed * Work with other engineering functions to coordinate the release of product improvements and new products * Manage manufacturing engineering projects, using design for excellence (DFx) principles to estimate and reduce manufacturing costs and improve product quality; determining time standards; and making recommendations for tooling and process requirements * Develop and use test procedures, working with other engineering functions to define test specifications, and to develop or source text fixtures * Participate in concept or feasibility studies, gathering test data, evaluating results, and managing corrective actions * Evaluate work methods, procedures, and policies, implementing new business processes and efficiency improvement tools * Mentor and train lower-level engineers, developing and updating training curriculum Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree * 10-15 years of semiconductor manufacturing engineer experience * An ability to lead complex projects and develop a strategy for project execution Preferred Qualifications: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain difficult or sensitive information and to build consensus Physical Requirements: This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
