RF Engineer

You will work on engineering problems focused on product development, product support and troubleshooting issues with RF delivery. You will design electrical circuits and systems consisting of instrumentation, high voltage, power delivery and control systems for semiconductor capital equipment. You will need to use best practices and knowledge of technical issues to improve products or services, primarily for RF and bias. Competencies: * Knowledge of electromagnetic theory and RF system design (RF generation, RF match, filters) * Participate in design reviews, validate designs, test plans for modules, component selection, grounding & shielding design, write and review technical documentation. * Understand how RF delivery controls on-wafer deposition for a variety of plasma processes (CCP, ICP, MW) * Familiar with data acquisition, analysis, modeling, and visualization Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement concepts for a wide range of complex product issues and engineering solutions * Design or modify electrical or electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, drawings, or specifications of difficult scope * Technical lead for engineering projects, work on research and development of new technologies as needed * Problem identification and troubleshooting a wide range of complex engineering problems * Specify and/or perform engineering analysis of complex scope * Work with product specialists on complex electrical issues to address customers High Value Problems (HVP) for a range of products * Generate electrical product specifications; specify and review engineering documentation * Define, coordinate, perform and document engineering tests Preferred Qualifications: * Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar field * 7-10 years of experience in a related field ## Qualifications ### Education: Bachelor's Degree ### Skills ### Certifications: ### Languages: ### Years of Experience: 4 - 7 Years ### Work Experience: ## Additional Information ### ### Shift: Day (India) ### ### Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time ### ### Relocation Eligible: Yes ### Referral Payment Plan: None Applied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
