We are seeking a skilled CAM Programmer to develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for precision machining. The ideal candidate will translate engineering drawings and CAD models into efficient machining instructions, ensuring high-quality production while minimizing cycle time and material waste.

Responsibilities

→Create and modify CNC programs using CAM software for milling, turning, and multi-axis machines
→Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements
→Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies
→Simulate and verify toolpaths to prevent collisions and ensure accuracy
→Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production teams to improve manufacturability
→Optimize programs for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
→Troubleshoot machining issues and revise programs as needed
→Maintain documentation for programs, tooling setups, and processes
→Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Requirements

Proven experience as a CAM Programmer or CNC Programmer
Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360, Mastercam, PowerMill, or similar)
Strong understanding of CNC machining processes (milling, turning, multi-axis)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
Knowledge of cutting tools, materials, and machining techniques
