As the Accounting Manager at Aprio, you will ensure that all accounting practices are aligned with accounting standards and internal policies. You will be supporting the team in ensuring accurate and timely submission of financial reports.

Ensure compliance with BIR and other regulatory requirements (SEC, CDC, BOI)

Oversee tax filings ( such as VAT, withholding, income tax) and ensure timely submissions

Act as point of contact for tax audits and coordinate with external auditors

Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal policies

Develop and enhance accounting policies, processes, and compliance controls

Lead or support process improvement initiatives and finance transformation projects

Collaborate closely with the Finance and Accounting Manager to align reporting, compliance, and operations

Partner with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, automation, and control improvements

Support financial reporting and ensure audit readiness

Collaborate with Director, Corporate during financial review and external audit requests

Provide guidance to the GL team and support to senior leaders.

Support the growth of Aprio by achieving the OneAprio Finance goal.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA is required
-
At least 5 years of leadership experience in full-cycle accounting and compliance
-
Thorough understanding of financial benchmarking, accounting, auditing, tax compliance, and other regulatory matters

Experience with accounting systems (such as Xero) is required.

Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills

Proven process improvement mindset required

Must have prior experience working in the Shared Services/BPO Industry or an accounting firm
