Sounds great – what’s the role in a nutshell?

Deliver exceptional hospitality and share insightful local knowledge during guide rotations. You'll ensure guests have a safe and enjoyable experience by providing essential safety information and equipment before any excursion, and by expertly guiding them through our designated areas.

Your passion is:

• Manages and updates tour or excursion itinerary as required by the company.  

• Works together all guide team and cruise director to develop and update necessary procedure such as “wake-up call procedure, guest embarkation procedure etc. 

• Follows and implement all related procedures when required by the company.  

• Prepares and updates daily program of cruise.  

• Conducts presentation or briefing to guest as required by the company.  

• Makes a morning wake-up call to guest and informs them about the excursion or tour program.  

• Liaises with operations team to ensure that the arrangement of on-land or excursion logistics are well prepared and managed.  

• Produces daily report on each excursion and make a weekly Guide Report.  

• Describes places to guests with a professional knowledge.  

• Provides regular update on any change of guest information to operations team, cruise director and captain or concerned stakeholders.  

• Provides directions to guest with reference to the company’s itinerary or manifest. 

• Ensures that guide license is valid and shall request to P&C for renewal before it expires.  

• Be responsible for producing all related reports regarding expenses or payment during any excursion or tour program.  

• Additional tasks assigned by line manager or required by the company.  

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor in Tourism and Hospitality. 
• 5 years of experience as a guide in Mekong Delta region.
• Poses a Guide License. 
• Fluent in English communication skills, French is a plus.
  
• Management skills and leadership competitiveness an ability to
  work in a multicultural environment.  
• Problem solving, conflict resolution and decision making skills.
  
• Being flexible and proactive. 
• Having good presentation skills. 
• Being enthusiastic and friendly.
