AutoCAD Designer - Fire Sprinkler systems

Established Fire Sprinkler Company seeking immediate hire for a Fire Sprinkler Designer position. Must have Design experience in the Fire Sprinkler Industry.

• →Reviewing construction contract documents and coordinate with subcontractors and General Contractors/Owners to gather the required information to design project sprinkler systems.
• →Ensure compliance with applicable NFPA standards, local and national building codes, and the scope of the work based on the project documents and specifications
• →Work with sales to provide technical support and estimating guidance where needed

• 2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler design
• Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems, fire protection regulatory standards, and state and local codes
• Technical understanding and knowledge of automatic sprinkler systems and components
• NICET certification preferred
• Proficiency in AutoSprink preferred
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software
• Ability to perform work in an efficient and organized matter and maintain thorough records
• Proven ability and track record of performing work in a timely manner and meeting deadlines
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills, including ability to communicate effectively, and work collaboratively among our team
• Ability to professionally communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
