A senior techno-functional role sitting between business and engineering. You'll embed with business teams, translate their pain into buildable solutions, and drive them to production with Engineering Architects and Developers. Above all, this is a transformation role - you will change how teams and departments work and deliver measurable business impact across the firm. This is an AI-first role: Claude Chat, Cowork, and Code are core to how you discover, document, prototype, and deliver.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Drive transformation: Act as change agent across teams and departments; land measurable business impact and lift internal NPS / stakeholder satisfaction by 20+ points.
- →Discover & re-engineer processes: Embed with business teams, map current/target-state flows (BPMN), and cut cycle time 30–50% on 2–3 core workflows through re-engineering, automation, and AI.
- →Translate to delivery artifacts: Convert workflows into user stories, story points, acceptance criteria, and BRDs precise enough for engineers to build without rework.
- →Partner on solutions: Shape design with Engineering Architects and Developers; stay engaged through build, test, and release.
- →Deliver AI-first: Use Claude Chat, Cowork, and Code daily; drive 80%+ active adoption and 25%+ productivity gains across your domains.
- →Own roadmap & build-vs-buy: Prioritize multi-quarter plans; run POCs and present data-driven build-vs-buy recommendations; unlock 1–2 firm-level initiatives with measurable revenue or CX impact.
- →Deliver value & reduce risk: Lead Agile execution and stakeholder buy-in; deliver $500K–$2M+ annual savings/avoidance and cut incidents, audit findings, and control gaps by 40%+.
- →Lead & mentor: Guide junior consultants (including as direct reports); raise delivery quality and win senior sponsorship.
- Experience: 10–15+ years overall; 5–8+ in Solutioning, product/project management, or technical consulting with a discovery-to-production track record.
- Technical bar (screening filter): Write SQL, read APIs, interpret architecture diagrams, and critically direct AI coding tools like Claude Code. Non-technical analysts are not a fit.
- AI-first delivery: Daily hands-on with Claude Chat, Cowork, Code (or equivalents); able to set AI delivery standards for a team.
- Transformation mindset: Proven track record of cross-functional change that materially altered how teams work — measurable impact, not just delivered projects.
- Technical foundation: Strong SQL, APIs, data modeling; solid grasp of SDLC, cloud (AWS/Azure), and modern architecture. Prior developer experience strongly preferred.
- Delivery craft: Hands-on process mapping, user stories, and acceptance criteria; extensive Agile/Scrum and Jira/Confluence experience across concurrent workstreams.
- Leadership & communication: Develop juniors, influence without authority, and write proposals that win senior buy-in across business, technical, and executive audiences.
- Education: Bachelor's required; Master's in Management, Technology, or related preferred. Prior consulting or vertical-industry background a plus.
