Product Lead - Opterra - Treasury

We are looking for a passionate and technically adept Product Lead to join the Treasury group within the Product Management team. The Treasury product portfolio covers critical post-trade functions including collateral management, margin calculation, portfolio financing, and securities borrowing and lending. This group works with technology teams throughout the process lifecycle to specify, develop, and implement Arcesium’s treasury modules.

This role offers the opportunity to define and design the next generation of treasury products on a platform used by some of the most sophisticated hedge funds and institutional asset managers in the world, and to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry.

• →Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for Arcesium’s treasury product modules, focusing on delivering robust, scalable solutions for collateral management, margin, portfolio financing, and securities borrow/lend workflows.
• →Rapidly prototype product ideas and validate hypotheses using AI tools and vibe-coding techniques—building functional prototypes hands-on to accelerate discovery, test feasibility, and communicate product intent to engineering and stakeholders.
• →Distill the vision into product roadmap and product/feature specifications through requirement gathering, solutioning, and business analysis in close partnership with clients and internal stakeholders.
• →Collaborate closely with engineers and architects to translate product specifications into design and eventual product, ensuring core capabilities are effectively implemented and continuously improved.
• →Rigorously and continuously evaluate the progress of products and features in flight by leveraging test cases and ensuring compliance with product specifications and the overall vision.
• →Engage with both internal stakeholders and external users at client organizations to gather feedback, identify pain points, and prioritize impactful product improvements.
• →Measure and analyze product usage data and user feedback to guide roadmap priorities and inform investment decisions.
• →Conduct market research and competitive landscape analysis to stay ahead of industry trends in treasury and post-trade technology.
• →Articulate business cases, estimate timelines and budgets, and communicate with all stakeholders; prepare project plans, release notes, and other artifacts.
• →Partner with product managers across other product groups on cross-cutting programs and initiatives to provide comprehensive business solutions.

• 6+ years of overall work experience, with a minimum of 2 years in product management preferably for financial technology products or platforms.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and vibe-coding / rapid-prototyping approaches to build working product prototypes. You should be comfortable going from idea to interactive demo without waiting for engineering.
• Customer empathy and a deep understanding of client needs, preferably with experience working directly with hedge funds or institutional asset managers.
• Adept at balancing technical requirements with user and stakeholder needs, both internally and at enterprise client organizations.
• Experience working closely with engineering teams in an agile software development environment.
• Outstanding academic background and a passion to work in a high-tech software development environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking and the ability to articulate standpoints and ideas and influence stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple lines of execution with attention to detail and quality.
• A high level of personal maturity and a collaborative attitude.
• A healthy combination of resourcefulness, domain expertise, creativity, and execution prowess.
• Domain expertise in treasury and post-trade processes such as collateral management, margin calculation, portfolio financing, securities borrow/lend, or related middle- and back-office functions, is optional but nice to have.
