Operations Engineer | Early Careers, 2027 Start
Quick Summary
Developing new features for internal, employee-used web platforms Building, refining, maintaining,
Arch is a Series B financial technology company that automates the management of private investments, improving access, understanding, and the human experience of investing across asset classes.
Private investments such as venture capital, hedge funds, and private equity, make up roughly 25% of the investment universe. Traditionally, investors, advisors, banks, families, and managers track hundreds of investments in complicated spreadsheets, file folders, and busy inboxes. Not only is this tedious and time-consuming, but it is rife with opportunity for manual data entry errors, inconsistent reporting, and lost information. Enter, Arch.
Arch delivers standardized data, documents, and insights in a single platform, avoiding the need to chase information across dozens or hundreds of ‘portals’. Our purpose is to save investors’ time while empowering them to make more informed investment decisions, leading to better financial outcomes.
We are a fast-growing, dynamic team of 200+, serving over 400 clients, including several of America’s largest banks, families, and financial institutions. We’ve over doubled the size of the company every year since inception and we are looking to hire in all departments as we scale.
The Operations Engineer role at Arch is an engineering role tightly aligned with the efficiency and overall success of our Client Operations team. If you love building internal tools, wrangling messy data, and solving ambiguous problems in a fast-moving environment, we want to hear from you.
Depending on the team, your work will span two things: building and maintaining the internal tools our Operations team relies on, and building the pipelines that acquire, process, and structure Arch's alternative investment data.
Eligibility: You must be a current college senior graduating between December 2026 and August 2027 to be considered for this role. We anticipate start dates Early 2027 & Summer 2027
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Developing new features for internal, employee-used web platforms
Building, refining, maintaining, and monitoring Arch's data acquisition and processing pipelines
Automating the acquisition and extraction of financial data from many sources
Applying both traditional data processing methods and generative AI to acquire and structure data

Overseeing execution and maintenance of a suite of scripts and other internal tooling that supports core business functions
Assisting with debugging, investigation, and troubleshooting errors

Are a quick learner who enjoys partnering with others and solving difficult, ambiguous problems
