Biology Teacher (Temporary Assignment) - Providence Cristo Rey High School

Providence Cristo Rey High School has an immediate need for a High School Biology Teacher for an eight week temporary assignment. The Biology Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering daily biology instruction, assessing student learning, providing timely feedback, maintaining accurate grades and attendance, and supporting students in successfully completing course requirements. The ideal candidate will build positive relationships with students, maintain high academic expectations, and create opportunities for students to think critically, engage in scientific inquiry, and explain and defend their thinking. The teacher will maintain a supportive and structured classroom environment aligned with the mission and expectations of Providence Cristo Rey.

A bachelor's degree is required. A background in biology, science, education, or a related field and previous experience working with high school students are strongly preferred.
