SEL Support Specialist - St. Mark School

Saint Mark Catholic School seeks a compassionate and skilled SEL Specialist to
support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs. This individual will
implement behavior intervention plans, teach self-regulation and social skills, track
student progress, and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to
foster a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Collect and analyze behavioral data to track student progress.
Teach self-regulation, coping, communication, and social skills.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education staff, and the school
social worker.
Respond to behavioral crises using approved de-escalation techniques.
Provide behavioral support and classroom management strategies to staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, ABA, Special Education, Social Work, or a
related field required.
1-3 years of experience supporting student behavior in an educational setting.
Experience with behavior intervention, IEP implementation, and data collection.
Master's degree and CPI certification preferred.
Must successfully complete Archdiocesan child safety training and background
screening.
Valid driver's license required.
