High School English Teacher

Moore Catholic High School – Staten Island, NY

Moore Catholic High School is seeking a full-time High School English Teacher beginning in September 2026.

Salary: $50,000–$60,000, based on experience, qualifications, and certification.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, English Education, or a related field
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to the mission of Catholic education

Preferred Qualifications:

• New York State Teaching Certification
• Experience teaching high school English
• Experience with Honors and/or AP English Language and Composition
• Experience preparing students for the New York State Regents Examination
