WHAT YOU'LL DO
Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of pre-show and post-show discussions, including moderator recruitment, scheduling, speaker preparation, and event logistics.

Facilitate and moderate select discussions, audience conversations, and community forums.

Develop and implement community activations that enhance audience engagement and strengthen connections between productions and community partners.

Support the planning and execution of affinity events, workshops, community gatherings, and partnership-based programs.

Collaborate with Artistic, Production, Marketing, Audience Experience, Development, and Sales teams to ensure the successful execution of engagement activities.

Provide on-site event management and operational support as needed.

Serve as a liaison between Arena Stage and community organizations, civic groups, affinity organizations, and local stakeholders.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and prospective community partners.

Assist in identifying opportunities for new partnerships and collaborative programming.

Support partner communication and ensure timely follow-up on engagement initiatives.

Draft correspondence, reports, meeting notes, and program updates for internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain organized records of community partnerships, agreements, and engagement activities.

Coordinate meetings, schedules, and logistical arrangements for community engagement initiatives.

Support receipt of reconciliation, expense tracking, purchasing requests, and program documentation in coordination with the Business Office.

Maintain accurate databases of community partners, contacts, engagement activities, and program participants.

Track attendance, participant feedback, and engagement outcomes.

Assist in collecting and analyzing program data for reporting and assessment purposes.

Prepare reports and recommendations that support the continuous improvement of engagement efforts.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in arts administration, Communications, Theater, Event Management, Community Engagement, Education, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Two to three years of experience in community engagement, producing, audience engagement, events, hospitality, arts administration, nonprofit programming, or a related field.

Experience coordinating public-facing events and programs.

Experience facilitating discussions, workshops, or community conversations preferred.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and project coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database or CRM systems.
