Procurement Specialist

ARETUM, a leading government contracting company specializing in technology-enabled mission support services, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Procurement Specialist at ARETUM, you will play a crucial role in managing our procurement processes and ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies.

• →Perform and document requirements analyses
• →Coordinate with business owners to draft procurement request documentation, including statements of work or performance work statements and IGCEs
• →Conduct and document alternatives analyses as well as market research
• →Conduct and document procurement risk assessments
• →Prepare and implement procurement strategies, ensuring compliance with appropriate guidelines
• →Develop Capital Planning and Investment Control documentation and manage the Capital Planning and Investment Control Process in accordance with OMB Circular A-11 as well as applicable DHS instructions

• →Master's Degree preferably in the fields of finance or accounting
• →Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office required
• →10 years of demonstrated experience required
• →Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities at once
• →Must possess strong interpersonal communications and teamwork skills
• →Must be an exceptional writer
• →Enjoys a team-oriented environment, but able to function independently
• →Takes ownership of projects and can prioritize assignments
• →Ability/Willingness to Travel to Washington, DC occasionally
• →Eligibility to receive DHS suitability required. Current DHS Suitability preferred
