About the Role
~1 min readThe Videographer & Visual Content Producer creates compelling visual marketing content from concept through final delivery. This role leads end-to-end video production—including creative development, scripting, filming, drone/aerial capture, editing, motion graphics, sound design, and distribution—to support ACA’s brand, business-development, event, and communications goals. The successful candidate is a creative, organized visual storyteller who can independently manage a high-volume production schedule while partnering with the Creative Director, Marketing team, internal stakeholders, agencies, and production vendors. This is a hybrid position based in Phoenix, AZ; qualified candidates must reside in the Phoenix metro area. Base compensation for this role is between $70k—$85k, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Lead full-cycle video production, including concept development, storyboarding, scripting, filming, editing, color correction, audio mixing, motion graphics, captions, and final delivery.
- →Produce video and visual-marketing assets such as event recaps, executive remarks, promotional trailers, social-media features, customer testimonials, industry vignettes, strategic video series, and business-development content.
- →Capture high-quality video, photography, and drone footage to build a distinctive and versatile visual library for marketing campaigns, events, websites, proposals, email, and social media.
- →Apply strong visual storytelling techniques to transform interviews, events, subject-matter expertise, B-roll, and aerial footage into clear, engaging narratives for defined audiences.
- →Adapt content for appropriate platforms and formats, including websites, email, social media, YouTube, Vimeo, presentations, and digital advertising.
- →Maintain organized, searchable libraries of footage, still photography, drone content, project files, templates, and final assets.
- →Manage licensing, subscriptions, contracts, and usage rights for stock footage, music, voiceover talent, images, and other purchased content.
- →Operate, maintain, and recommend upgrades to production equipment and technology, including cameras, drones, lighting, audio equipment, teleprompters, editing systems, and storage tools.
- →Partner with the Creative Director, Marketing team, external agencies, and vendors to ensure creative assets meet brand, quality, timeline, and campaign requirements.
- →Support related creative needs, including photography, image selection, visual mapping, graphic-design elements, and visual assets for proposals and collateral.
- →Monitor video performance metrics and recommend approaches to improve content visibility and engagement across video-distribution platforms.
- →Deliver high-quality content under compressed timelines, including timely event coverage and post-event deliverables.
- →Stay current on video-production methods, drone technology, editing techniques, motion graphics, and visual-marketing trends.
- →Travel throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area using a personal vehicle and work occasional evenings and weekends to support productions and events.
Requirements
~2 min read- Bachelor’s degree in film/media production, digital or visual communications, multimedia, design, marketing, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum five (5) years of professional experience leading all phases of video production—from concept and pre-production through filming, post-production, and final delivery—in a production, agency, corporate, broadcast, or similarly fast-paced environment. Academic coursework and student projects do not satisfy this requirement.
- Demonstrated portfolio reflecting strong visual storytelling, interview production, cinematography, editing, and branded marketing or corporate communications content.
- Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire; demonstrated experience capturing and producing high-quality aerial photo and video content for organizational or marketing use.
- Proficiency with professional editing and creative-production tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Audition, Final Cut Pro, or comparable software.
- Experience with photography, professional production equipment, and extracting high-quality still images from video footage.
- Experience administering content licenses and usage agreements for stock media, music, B-roll, imagery, and voiceover talent.
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in a rapidly changing environment.
- Skilled visual storyteller with strong creative judgment in composition, lighting, pacing, sound, color, and narrative structure.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with strong asset-management, file-organization, and production-planning practices.
- Collaborative and service-oriented, with the ability to build credibility and work effectively with executives, internal clients, agencies, vendors, and diverse teams.
- Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity; able to make sound decisions, shift priorities, and deliver results without complete information.
- Reliable, independent, innovative, achievement-oriented, and comfortable working at a fast pace with limited direction.
- Experience in a marketing, advertising agency, professional services, corporate communications, or high-growth business environment.
- Experience with motion graphics, animated titles, infographics, and video content optimized for paid and organic digital channels.
- Knowledge of Umbraco or another content-management system.
- Strong project-management and vendor-management skills.
